RULES OF THE ATTENDANCE

1. No student shall absent himself/herself from the class without obtaining previous permission of the Principal/Headmaster. If prior permission can not be had on grounds of health or unforeseen circumstances, an application of leave shall be sent up to the Principal/Headmaster not later than the following day.
2. Minimum attendance: A student whose attendance falls short of 75% of the total working days, will not be allowed to appear for the annual examination. The principal is authorised to consider shortage of Pre-board attendance up to 10% in special circumstances like medical
grounds.
3. All applications for leave should be addressed to the Principal/Headmaster.
4. Applications for leave on medical ground for more than two days shall invariably be supported by medical certificate.
5. Irregularity, unpunctuality and truancy on the part of the students will be severely dealt with by the Principal/Headmaster.
6. No student shall be eligible for promotion unless he/she puts in attendance of 75% of the total number of working days of the school in the whole year. This rule holds good in respect of classes, curricular and co-curricular activity.
7. If any student’s name is struck off the Register, for not maintaining the school norms, no appal in this matter shall be granted.

EXAMINATION AND NORMS OF PROMOTION

1. A student will not be allowed to appear for in the examination if he/she has not put in a minimum 75% of total attendance in the academic session including attendance in previous school if the student has been admitted on transfer.
2. Report cards for Unit Test, Half Yearly, Pre-Board and Annual Examination are to be collected on the dates specified alongwith parents/Guardians.
3. Report cards will be withheld if fees are not cleared within the specified due date.
4. Parents/Guardians who fail to attend the Parent-Teacher Meet for collection of Report card, will have to appeal to the Principal for obtaining the Result card. It will be the Principal’s discretion solely to consider such application.

PROMOTION RULES

In order to pass the Examination a student must secure 33% marks in each of the subjects and 33% in aggregate and must have attendance record of 75%.
The students having Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geography and other practical based subjects are to obtain 23 marks separately in Theory and 10 marks in practical as per Board’s Rule, otherwise they will be considered fail in the said subject.
